Experience Boracay

who: Borakids
what: Trip
when: June 11-13, 2011
where: Boracay

Yes, we call ourselves "the Borakids". Bora is used to call Boracay in short.

All were excited for we will having our first times. First time to ride a plane and first time to step on a white crystallized sand of Boracay Beach at Boracay Island, Aklan, Philippines.

And we are flying to Boracay via Zestair to Kalibo Airport and via Van to Caticlan Jetty Port (there is a flight directly to Caticlan Airport).

Touchdown Kalibo Airport.

From Kalibo Airport, we went to Caticlan Jetty Port via private Van (roughly about Php 2,000. Sorry for i cannot give the exact amount, its been a year LOL). This picture is taken about 2:00am and it is an hour drive from Kalibo airport. Imagine, we are at Caticlan airport that early and have to wait for the first trip (boat; 6:00am) going to Boracay Island. From the port of Boracay, we ride a tricycle going to the beach (you can choose from station to station 3 or if you are booked to some of the hotels there, they will pick you up at the port by their private vehicle service).

And it is raining at that time. After our breakfast at Andok's Chicken (grilled chicken), we had our rest at the accommodation (very cheap, we just look for it just right when we get there). After an hour or few of rest, the sun shines so eagerly.

So we are ready for the Island Hopping (around the Island of Boracay). We had a chance to see other private beaches, some are owned and managed by the famous.

Snorkeling and Fish Feeding.
Stop over at Puca Beach. You can take your lunch here but we opt to have our lunch at the Beach Station, food is quite expensive here. We had our lunch at Mang Inasal's Chicken located at D'mall. Yes, chicken again but it is affordable. We have to stick on our budget.

And the night life begins...dinner first then sight seeing, watching shows like fire dancing and bar hopping.

We end up drinking, dancing and enjoying the rest of the night here until 2:00 am.

Our second day begins and our stay in Boracay ends :(

This fruit-shake is famous at the Island. Be sure you visit it when you come to Boracay and it is worth the taste.

For your "Pasalubong" and souvenirs you can have it all at this mall. There are lots of boutiques to choose from.

And it's time to leave the footprints in the sand but hoping to see them again.

On our way home via Montenegro Lines (ship) to Roxas City, Oriental Mindoro to Calapan Port via van and to Batangas Port via Montenegro Lines again.

'Till we meet again BORACAY.
